July Kits and add ons from Elle's Studio

As every month, the kits and add ons from Elle's Studio for the month of July are outstanding. They totally remind me of summer and I love the bright color palette this month. Also released this month is the Title Builder Bundle. It got sold out so fast because I see it as one of the most useful set of products to add to your scrapbook arsenal. Even though the bundle is sold out, you can buy each of the individual elements separately.
Here is a look at the July kits and add ons. Click on the images to take you to the new arrivals in the shop.

Here are the projects that I made with these products:

The photos that I used for this layout were taken after my kid's piano recital. I wanted to document their recital day. The journal cards and the colors from the june kit were so awesome. I also like the puffy stickers add ons this month. I played around with the levels of the cards and raised them with pop dots.

Having the different elements at different levels on the layout gives a very interesting look to the layout.

I took this photo of my boys on our trip to Ireland last summer. I have been wanting to document this for a long time and found felt that the products in the kit this month were ideal to do so. I love the 3x4 cards and think of them as the perfect way to journal. I don't do project life so I love to use them on my layouts. One of my favorite add ons is the cork tags. I had a 100 different ideas on how I would use them and settled on this implementation. The acrylic word fav is from one of the previous months and is currently 40% off. The design of this layout is a simple grid. But I love the final effect of a simple grid layout with an emphasis on the photo.

Stay tuned for a project that I have created using the title builder stamp later this month on the Elle's Studio blog.

Circles - My new class at BPC

I am so excited to announce my new class at Big Picture Classes. It is called CIRCLES. In this class I have 6 lessons. Each lesson has a couple of videos. One video is about how I digitally manipulate photos or create cut files with silhouette studio and the other video is a process video of how the layout comes together. I talk about product choices and some design choices. I have shown you in detail how I go about creating the layouts incorporating circles.

Here is a link to the class -

I want to share with you that creating a class is a huge learning process by itself. I put in a lot of work and energy into creating this class but it is also an amazing experience as I can only grow through this process. I hope you will take this class and leave me feedback. I would love to hear from you.

While you are there, also check out my first class at Big Picture Classes. It is call Big Impact. This one is all about creating layouts with large photos. I have shown you various layout designs and photo editing and printing techniques in this class.

Hope you have a wonderful day and happy learning!

June kits from Elles Studio

Where are the months flying by? I still remember posting my first set of projects for Elle's Studio in January and it is already June. I love the colorful kit this month. Bright colors and the summer theme are my absolute favorite.

Aren't all the products so awesome. I have links to all these products at the end of my blog post.

Here is my first project. I decided to make a pocket page as I really wanted to use up all the awesome cards in the kit. I documented my son's end of soccer season. His favorite part to the party was the red popsicle he is eating in these photos.  The red acrylic popsicle and the popsicle card were perfect for this layout.

Here is my second project. It is a layout of my kids having an awesome time at the beach. The entire theme of the kit and the add ons were perfect for this photo. I used one of the 6x4 cards the from the June kits to write my journaling and those puffy hearts have my heart :) I cut a 3x4 card in half to frame each side of the 6x4 card. I then added some die cuts on the photo itself. Another favorite this month are the acrylic shapes add on. I added the popsicles, sun and the camera acrylic shapes on this layout to emphasize the feeling of summer.

Hope you enjoyed the projects!

May Kits from Elles Studio

Hi friends. It's time for another awesome kit from Elle's Studio to go live. I love all the colors of this kit - blue, green, orange, yellow. In the add ons, I love all the arrows and have hoarded them to make my third project which will go live around the end of the month.

Here is the May kit! Look at those hexagons! They are one of my favorites this month. All the cards too! I can use all of them. That's what I like about these kits.

You can find the kit and the subscription to the kits here.

Here are the May digitals. You can find it here in the Elle's Studio Store.

Here are the May add ons! I don't think you can stay away from any of them. The stamp is super versatile. You can find it here at the Elle's Studio shop.

Here are my projects:

To begin with the background grid paper is from the Live Laugh Love collection. As soon as I saw the hexagons, I knew that I absolutely wanted to cut my photos into hexagons also and sprinkle the hexagon wood veneer all over the layout. Those punch out circles are cool to add to this layout as they break up the sharp edges of the hexagons. The two cards on the top right and bottom left are perfect with a great saying that goes so well with the layout and the journal card which was also a perfect way to document our trip to Costa Rica.

Here are some close ups:

Here is my next layout!

Here is my second layout which has a very different subject than the first. It is cool that kit inspired me to make layouts that are so different from each other with completely different topics. I love the Currently card from the kit. I wrote down a little bit of what's happening with me. I like that I included myself in the layout. I always hesitate to do one just about me. But I am happy to do this. The stamp from the add ons this month has all the days of the week. It can be used to make so many different types of projects.

Here are some close ups:

Last but not least, make sure that you check out the Mini Album class that has some absolutely awesome contributors. You can find it here. It is on sale right now. You will also get a stamp set when you purchase the class.

I hope you like what you see because I am so happy to be creating with them. Have a great day!
